Just a thought, the Tattler brand lids are BPA free but are plastic. I have had success using my Crop-o-dile on thinner plastics without cracking by first soaking the plastic item in hot water for a couple minutes. I am not certain this would work on these lids bc I don't own any, but if anyone out there does- this is a super cute project and worth the experimentation.
