I made myself a standing desk at work about two months ago and I love it. I stand from 30-80% of the day, depending on the day. I focus better and am more likely to walk around...like going to re-fill my water or grabbing something from the printer right away rather than waiting to do it all later. Thanks so much for sharing this! I don't know anything about this kind of stuff and it never occured to me that I should be choosing different extension cords. My hair dryer and toaster oven are both plugged into extension cords and apparently that's a no-no! I did notice my lights dim for a moment when I turned my hair dryer on the other day......probably shoulda thought about that one for a moment.
