@annemariefeld, our white is: simply white by benjamin moore. i once struggled with a dark room. i was told bright colors is the way to go with dark rooms... that's a tricky one...

@janelleb, our table was custom designed by district millworks in los angeles. the nook is 4.5' x 9'

i was experimenting with the dhurrie and layering the rugs in the living room. it's now in the bedroom...i'm sure it will tour the entire house before it finds a permanent home.

we found the skeleton at a local flea market. he's strong, so he can pretty much hold his own when the play gets rough.
and yes, the tiles are from FLOR.

hi all. a couple of replies... my husband and i met in new york; a city that is near and dear to our heart. the toys are tucked away in their respective nooks throughout the house and garden. of course, our house was neat and tidy for the AT photoshoot. we were back to theme chaos within seconds from the shoot wrapping. thanks for the comments!
