I also thought removing a window was a bad idea but I followed the link and the room opens into a dining/living space with two sets of French doors, so light doesn't seem to be an issue. I think the red stove saves the room from white-out -- and vintage red metal stools would add even more colour -- but even though it's not really my style (I love white, but this is a bit too insubstantial for me) her eye for detail is so spot-on it's crazy.
