Thanks for the post.

30 DIY Projects for the 3-Day Weekend

I too love this home and didn't realize it was an office until I went back to read the introduction. The full glass front door and white furniture scares me and I don't have kids but being that this is an office, I guess it's not much of a big deal.
The design is beautiful and love how each room has family pictures adorning the walls.

Being a 'big-cat' fan, hands down on the cheetah print but ALL of them are just WOW. The book, jungle scene, and cabin would be close seconds for me. How fun.

Geometric pattern would be fun with all the wonderful sun. (Really didn't mean for it to rhym)

How To Update Upholstery for New Room? Good Questions

When I was in my late 20's, I 'tried' walking the bridge for it's 50th anniversay. The friend that was to pick me up, came really late and we barely got on the bridge. There were so many people on the bridge that no one could move and the bridge 'bowed'. It was scary and exciting at the same time.
Heartwarming: An eldering gentleman was being pushed by his grandson in a wheel chair and we all told him to turn back because it was so crowded but he was determined to get to the other side. He walked the bridge as a young man when it FIRST OPENED.

I think that's really sweet that you allow your son to play in your "garden". Even though it looks like you have the view to a parking lot, it's nice that he can see through. My patio is something like yours but we all have solid walls so little ones feel like they are caged.
Nice job.

I agree w/the landscaping ideas that some have posted. Put in tall, slender trees to bring the eye upwards. I didn't read where you are located so if wind and storms are an issue then you may not want to go that route and go with a fun paint color and trm. As much I dislike 'shutters', I think if you remove them, it may dwarf your window as someone else posted. Good Luck.

I think they are all done beautifully but if simple and clean mean white, brown or tan, count me out. I do love color.

Not a fan of knives and pots/pans displayed. I find this kitchen a bit too cluttered for my taste but I do like the choice of cabinets.

I really like the ones that look like 'desk' but I don't care that you can see the plumbing.

I like these alot. Would like to see a closer image of the inside of that middle one in the last picture.
If I had the space I would certainly go for one of these but would try and put plumbing to use as a guest house if possible. Cool idea.

I don't understand the comments above with the links to to YOUTUBE. Is it solely because of the pods in this series?

My favorite is still Maggie B's space because it resembles probably what most of us have in our own homes so it's a super nice inspriation. The color scheme is so welcoming, warm and alive.

Another 'stuff' tour. I hate going through the pictures just to see a pair of shoes or knick kacks. I'm more interested in seeing the entire space and not close ups...but maybe that's just me.
For the few pictures that did show the living room and kitchen-I do like this lay-out. Those windows are wonderful.

I'm with TELLAGRAHAM about the wall paper but everything else rocks. Man, those windows and that funky green color is wonderful!

I intend on removing my vanity in my 1/2 bath and put a pedestal so this is perfect timing. I'm looking for something like the Pottery Barn one with window doors on top and solid doors or drawers on the bottom. Thanks for the post.

3 or 4 linear prints, shelving, gallery wall of family photos or vacation spots.
You can even drop a beautiful rug or wall hanging in that area. At the least, a large mirror.

I too have prints my my bathroom and they are inches from the shower and no issues.

In another post regarding pics in the bathroom (I think last week) someone posted to make sure to clean the back side of the frames as mold MAY grown. I never thought of that so I'll be checking from now on. Oh, I like #3; Face painter but I think I'd like it better if it were a mermaid. :o)
