Love the art factor to it but my first thought was also how comfy it might be. I Kudo for the time it took to do this.

I have a good friend who has 2 'scratching post in your 700 ST. apartment and the cat has NEVER clawed her furniture. I think it's something you have to teach them and it takes patiences. I'm not for declawing a cat...you take away their self defense, but personally, the cat would go. Yup, I know..gonna get alot of hisses for that but to me, animals are like children (of offense Moms) They need to be schooled. But at the end of all this if you decide to do the patches, I think it would be cute but eventually, your cats will get to them too.

Not a fan of grey but pairing it with green really does look nice. I like all suggestions posted.
Off topic..room #1 makes me want to go for the vacuum and clean out those shelves. I think I'm getting ODC as I get older! :o{

I've been thinking of doing the same only it would be a Celebration of Me...no gifts either--just some fun; maybe throw in a manicurist or massuse and I would foot the bill including food but that would be made at home.
I think your idea is very sweet and as long as the party goers know they will be paying for their own food, I think it's a lovely gesture.
QUESTION FOR ALL: I have a friend who's diabetic and always try and find things for her to eat so does anyone have any suggestions? I do buy 'whole foods and grain..no 'peel-a-meal'.

Agree w/Pi..that's what safe deposit boxes are for. Plus with the internet, a robber just needs to Google the lastest 'safe' and bingo, they will start looking at those 'safe' areas in the home to find your valuables.

Not a fan of empty frames on the wall nor the 'puddling' drapes. However, everything else is LOVELY!
It's nice to see that you kept the old kitchen. Seems that the previous took really good care of it being that you haven't demolished it and put in a sterile one instead. B R A V O!

There is a woman who sells these on ETSY. She 'tops' some of her dessert stands with hard to find, wide mouth mugs. I was so very tempted to buy one for my make up accessories. But with this tutorial, I do think I can make one myself. I have the drill-just need the bits. Thanks!

The space itself is very pretty but I would not want to work in an 'open' area office. Been there, done that. The noise travels so it's tough when you are on the phone with clients/customers. The company I worked for even had an 'open' conference room so when there were meetings, it was really hard to hear what your customer was saying over the phone. No thanks.
