We have carried Zachary's furniture in our store Potted and it is fantastic! So excited to see his new designs.

And why no concrete fire pits? We have a beautiful one we sell that ships all over the country. Please check it out at http://www.pottedstore.com/pottedstore/potted.cgi?search=action&category=FXR0 That's our fire pit page where you'll also see Modfires which are amazingly beautiful (not cheap) but really should be on this list.

Sorry for the self promotion but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do (and they really are amazing!) Potted

What a fabulous post. So excited that AT is moving to the big outdoors. Loree's garden is quite inspirational. Even us Californians don't do it quite so well and we don't have to deal with all that rain. I'm happy to have met her and her husband in our store and excited to see the Orange Circle Pot hanging so proudly in her garden. Bravo to Loree.

Yes, we can ship anywhere in the US most of our items. But don't be afraid to come into the store...we're dangerous but cute.

Totally in love with your house, Karen. I want to move into your daughter's bedroom. What a creative spirit and imagination you and Guy have.

The green end table came from a garage sale, though I know it's not old. I was thinking of using it as inspiration to create one for Potted. I know I've seen something similar from a very expensive outdoor Italian company, can't remember the name.

Darn, I knew someone would ask about that bedspread. It was from Bed, Bath & Beyond but I don't remember the brand. I want to say Amy Butler but I know that's my suitcase...something like that. Does Amy Butler do linens too?

Tree picture by staircase is actually a batik done by an artist named J Sutton and my mother bought it when she was pregnant with me in Sausalito and I will not tell you how many years ago that was but let's just suffice to say that the artist might perhaps be retired. Green in Guest bedroom is Behr "Avocado."

Yes, major kudos to Bethany. She has a wonderful eye and she really loves what she's doing, which is evident by the fantastic photos she takes. We had a lot of fun hanging out that day.

As for the shades in our bedroom, again, this is a little embarrassing but they are the cheapest Home Depot roll ups you can buy. Same with the ceiling fan in the kitchen, I'm pretty sure it was from Lamps Plus. Which says a lot for the choices now available at the larger discount stores.

For anyone who still wants to know the paint colors, please see today's (2/6/12) Apartment Therapy Home Tour of our whole house and I listed all the colors and you can see the rest of the house if you're interested.

Thanks for all your gracious comments. The rug in the dining room is an old Ikea rug and yes, the front door mat is from Potted, where else? I know it's cheating but if you can't shop at your own store shamelessly where can you shop?

Aw, thank you guys for your kind words. As for the linoleum, yes there is a special sealer you put on it and then once in a while you "buff" it but in all honesty we never did it for this floor because it's so large we just couldn't make ourselves do it. I wish I had but at this point I just don't stare at it too closely.
And very funny you should ask about the bottle opener...it was a gift from my brother in law and I absolutely love it and just today I found the manufacturer at the NY Gift show so we will be selling them at Potted very soon. Check out our website in probably April (unless you happen to live in LA, then come by and see us!)

Sorry, forgot about the bar stools and lights. Lights are from Roost in Sausalito carried by many fine home decor stores across the country (go on their site for a local retailer). Stools were from a really great manufacturer called Peddlers which is now defunct though I was just at the NY Gift show and saw something similar. I which I could tell you who to go to for retail. We don't sell them at my store because we really concentrate more on outdoor decor.
And believe it or not I did par down for this photo shoot but at the end of the day, I love my stuff, it's who I am...but I'm not offended at all by your itching.

Thanks for all the great comments. The hated dishwasher is more about function than form. I would love a Bosch. We have good friends in Berlin and we always marveled over the fact that they just throw in their dirty dishes without even a simple rinse and they actually come out clean. What a concept! But I like the stainless and black. As you can tell I don't like things to match too much.
Pottery is mostly vintage Bauer though some is available from our store new again or directly from Bauer (www.bauerpottery.com)
The lovely wooden spatula was a gift so I have no idea.
Yes you are right, it was a major renovation, not restoration. The original kitchen was completely different and the only way outside was to walk through the middle of it. The cabinets are solid wood but we actually did a simple renovation when we first got the house so we bought some of the cabinets then and reused them on this major renovations (hence why the fridge cabinet doesn't come out all the way which doesn't bother me but I understand the aesthetic issue...plus I love the photos)
The bar, the kitchen, the dining room...this is embarrassing, we eat in the living room. But all the areas get used one way or the other, especially during parties. If I had to chose I would probably get rid of the table and keep the bar and the dining room but luckily I didn't have to choose because I've had that old table forever and I love it.
The paint is all Benjamin Moore and I promise I will post what the colors are but I'm out of town at the moment so I don't remember off the top of my head.
Yes, the floor is actually blue and black. I kinda freaked out when I first did it as it was a tad stronger than I had imagined but then I took a deep breath and all was well. And it's great for not showing dirt!
