Good one! Lol!

No love for Eagle Rock? Eagle Rock is nestled in between Pasadena and Glendale in North East L.A. (NELA) with Highland Park on the southeast and Glassell Park on the southwest. There's a lot of cool hipster hangouts here! It's Los Angeles but it feels like you're living in a small town. Cute, quaint, quiet with a bohemian vibe :) I love it here! When I moved here 15 years ago, rent was dirt cheap. It's a little more expensive to live here now but still less expensive than Los Feliz or Atwater Village.

I also love my IKEA cart! It's such a cute item to have in the kitchen! I use it as a tea/ coffee/beverage cart. It provides storage for my teapots, cups & saucers, french press and even my wine glasses. It displays these items nicely and frees up much needed space in my kitchen cabinets. I have the aqua one but I've been thinking of going back to get the dark grey one as well...I've also been eyeballing the Jayden metal storage cart in World Market. It has a cute industrial vibe to it.

*A dining table with chairs so that I can actually sit at the table (like a grownup) and eat a meal. In my last two apartments, I would sit on the couch (or floor) in front of the t.v.
*A power drill
*More than two bath towels and one set of sheets :)
*Plenty of lightbulbs & batteries
*Plenty of kitchenalia
*A real bed

I'll never understand why someone would have their dining room table forever set for an elaborate dinner party complete with candles that will never burn. It's even more disturbing when it all begins to collect dust. I guess some people see it as a decorative choice. (baffling) To me, it just looks like "The dinner party that never came to fruition". It kind of reminds me of Miss Havisham's wedding table: bizarre, sad and a bit creepy.
