I've been using this German brand called Cat's Best Öko Plus and despite the tracking, it is THE best cat litter I've ever bought. A 4.5 kilogram pack lasts a month for - gasp - five cats, even if you add a generous amount of the litter in each tray and scoop daily. No odour whatsoever.

Lovely post and lovely dogs. Kudos to Auckland's SPCA for the creative initiative - I'm sure it will bring more awareness to the plight of abandoned pets in NZ and all over the world.

I feel for you. I've recently gone through a similar situation only I didn't break any bones but severely injured several ligaments on my right foot instead. Top it off with a bone marrow oedema and, voilà!, I had to take a four month leave from work. Fun fun fun.

I don't have much to add to your amazing tips, except that I totally subscribe to the idea of buying as many goods as you can on the Internet, watching as many movies and TV shows as you fancy, and wearing clothes with pockets, lots of them. And, if you play an instrument or would like to try your hand at a new language, this is the perfect time for practising.

The decor puts me off a bit (it's too delicate) but everything else is amazing. I checked out the original post on thesweeten blog and was impressed by what they did to the kitchen.

Beautiful place. It's the right balance between carefully curated and cozy.

Everything about this place screams "home". There's so much love and warmth in every detail. No wonder Lucy looks so comfortable and calm.
