We'll be cooling off with some Vanilla Milkshakes (no sugar, sweetened only with dates!). Super yummy and guilt-free!

Love it! I once lived in an apartment in Europe that had a super dark brown accent wall, which bordered on purple (sounds gross, but it was a sweet color!) which I would never have had the courage to paint myself, but which I was thankful for every day because it created such a depth and sophistication to the room. The shade of this wall is mesmerizing!

I found that if I keep Lysol surface wipes, paper towels, windex, and toilet bowl cleaner IN the bathroom (under the sink, right at the front) I am much more likely to wipe everything down as I brush my teeth every other night or so. I spray the mirrors with windex and wipe them down, use one wipe for the sink and one for the toilet, and am done. Every week or so I scrub the toilet bowl, and my wonderful husband scrubs the shower every other week for me. I know that even if I do have unexpected guests, I can easily tidy the bathroom in about one minute :-).

I once read in an old cookbook (I think the Betty Crocker one from the 1950's) to wash dishes used to cook eggs with cold water, not warm water, because the cold water keeps the egg from baking on to the pan even more than it already has. I tried it, and this definitely works! After removing all the egg residue, you can then wash it with warm water.

The vinegar would definitely get rid of that nasty egg smell!
