Love it! I need that "Phone, Key, Wallet" rug, I have a post it on the back of my front door, the rug is so much better. Before & After: Corinna's Garden Shed to Teen Retreat |

#3 Please! I recently dismantled my craftroom/art studio to make room for baby coming soon. I miss it! We now have an office/craftroom/guest room going on but it is NOT functional, and has become a dumping ground. Beautifully Organized: Craft Rooms |

My first thought is there needs to be more contrast between the brick and the mantle. They are the same tones, so nothing stands out. I would refinish the mantle either darker or lighter. Personally, I would go dark for more drama. Instead of lots of little things, you need objects with more impact. Area rugs are a good way to define the different zones. I've seen craft stations set up inside armoires-that might work for you. Attaching a pegboard on the inside of the door will take care of the clutter. Studio Layout Tips for New Apartment? Good Questions |

I think painted portraits are wonderful! Pretty rare these days. Personally, I would feel weird having one of myself-but perhaps I would exchange them amongst my siblings? I would not feel weird having one of my sisters or brothers. Then our children and grandchildren could re-exchange them down the line. If you are lucky enough to have painted portraits of family members, I say hang them! Great conversation starters. Fun or Faux Pas: Family Portraits at Home |

Beige carpet + beige walls was very blah. I don't generally like wallpaper, but plain white walls are very boring so adding texture is good idea. The pink mirror and green tutu add whimsy and pops of colour. Before & After: A Beige Bedroom Makeover |

I don't like the white matte finish, I understand the intent to make it appear to be a plaster statue, but like Simone4 commented, I find the after lifeless. Before & After: Paint that Monkey! Maison21 |
