drip machine - which over here in the UK is met with enormous curiosity. but in my opinion, is the only way to go unless you've got the space for a proper machine. french press is too much cleaning and stovetop well, too much attention necessary prior to coffee actually working to wake me up :) How Do You Make Your Morning Coffee? i can't comment on downsizing but here in the UK and in Europe, we make do with much smaller fridge/freezers - some of that comes down to what you put in the fridge and what you do, we don't generally keep entire cases of beer or coke in the fridge only replacing what we've just taken out. and there's no keeping any vegetables in the fridge that could instead sit on the counter or in a dark cupboard. we've got a not-too-expensive weber - the Q100? it's got all the functionality of a larger grill, but without the size (good for our tiny garden!) and the associated pricetag. at least over here in europe we came to discover that everything we looked at was inferior in quality, and this was the perfect solution - also, the grill is portable and so can be taken camping/to the beach/to the park etc. What Are Some Good Budget Gas Grills?Product & Shopping Questions |

doesn't this depend on the circumstances? if you live in a small apartment you might not have the luxury of space for cocktails and dinner. and if it's a weeknight, it might be a more casual, come for dinner, and here it is! typically we invite people for say 7 with dinner at 730, and let them know so they don't stress about being late, and so that i don't leave food in the oven getting overcooked :) Do You Serve Dinner Immediately After Your Guests Arrive?
