I completely get what you mean about 'sharing a meal' ... and that's what we do! sometimes I even get friends to help make the food, because it's not about me standing in the kitchen by my lonesome ... it's about hanging out with the people I love :) But we often have friends over for dinner a couple times a week - children and all.
