hi little engine--- the green wire shelf thing-y was found at a second hand shop-- there are TONS in the area of squam lake and we actually put in a go-to shopping trip itinerary in the journal we made so people could score some goods when they were in the area-- a zillion times less expensive than Brimfield-- if you are ever headed in that direction, i'm happy to give you the names and addies .. . xox, e

hey there-- thank you SO much for all the kind words--- sorry not to be in here sooner but we opened registration this week and I was buried. SO, to answer some questions:
1. I was super skeptical about the contact paper on the counters but it has held up amazingly, totally awesome and I cook all the time and get water on it etc . .
2. gauze at windows was from IKEA $4.99 for one pack of TWO. cannot beat that. and yes, we just draped them--easy-peasey
3. found elephant in shop in NH
4. living room rug was from rug shop in Concord NH - was called David Levine, then-- now is Little River Oriental http://www.nhrugs.com
5. ceiling fixture in kitchen isn't string lights-- it's a string light chandelier from IKEA that I pinned to the ceiling
6. the giant wall poster in the kitchen is a photograph I had printed out when I worked at VUTEk many years ago-- they had superwide format digital ink jet printers that did that-- now you could do the same at any FedEx/kinkos-- they have the same machines.
