Another option for Symbian users (yeah, they do exist), is Nokia Transport. Not specifically for LA, but has good information about metro tables et al.

I fail to see the automation aspect in this. It was carefully and nicely crafted macro playback with language control and stuff. Nice. But the only thing that is half automatic is the usage of the motion sensor turning on stuff, and the time executing scenarios.

To be an automated room, the system should for example automatically look at the time table or a google calendar, to change wake up hours.

Most of the time, when people say automation, they think macro programming stuff together. Wouldn't it be nice, if there would be a deeper integration into the information that's already available. For example not to wake someone up, when there is a presidents day?

Does anyone know how much electricity this thing uses while nothing is charging? The USB charging outlets on the wall do look neat (especially when mounted flush) but I've always wondered how efficient they are, when nothing is plugged in
