I love it. Do it! Six years since leaving my corporate design job in Atlanta I've lived in some pretty amazing areas, and racked up life experiences I never would have during the normal paid vacation time. As another reader said, there's very little more important than seeing as much of our world as you can. There are personal connections of course, but you'll get plenty of those even on the road.
