This thread is great, so helpful! I am thinking about buying an Ektorp sofa cover in white from Ikea and attempting to dye it myself, which seems like a daunting task, but this helped reassure me a bit. I have a (silly) question though. I just looked up the weight of the cover online at Ikea's website and it says it's 14lbs. Would it be okay/work to use 5 packets of the iDye in the washing maching method?? Please advise. Thanks!
