I live in Vancouver and I don't find it gloomy, we live in a rain forest - how can that be a bad thing! And, there's plenty to do here! Vancouver as a "no fun city" is so 10 years ago.

I didn't know mid-century modern was a trend. It seems to me that is has been popular, in varying degress, for at least 10 - 15 years. Do trends last that long?

Wow! What a fantastic room. I love everything about it! The showstoppers have to be the Chevron stripe wall and that great crib! I wish they made a wallpaper like the chevron stripe in your nursery - I don't think my husband (or I) would have the patience to tape off that pattern. Good for you guys!
