I have been searching and searching for an outdoor sectional/daybed. There are certainly many beautiful choices out there but most run well upwards of 5K and we don't want to spend that much. I have pretty much decided on The West Elm Tillary outdoor modular but I am a bit hesitant since I am not sure of the quality and could not find any reviews. It will be in the corner of a screened in porch...so up against a wall and covered, for the most part. Does anyone have any experience with this sofa? I have been on the hunt for something similar as well. I had a custom size oval top made from the leftover caesarstone from my countertop and have been looking for a pedestal base. I actually tried the teepee base from CB2 as noted above but sadly it cracked under the weight ( the top is about 150 lbs)...so needless to say, I need something very sturdy and stable ( I have 3 young children). I actually have an ash tree which we had taken down in the yard with very large stump pieces, but I am not sure how to go about having it made ( or if it will be stable enough without being too wide to sit around comfortably?) Also, it is incredibly heavy...how would you move a stump of that size? Any ideas on how to create this or other bases would be much appreciated.... Help Us Find a Table Like This!
