ummm... as soon as you go to charge your phone, that will look awful.

it would be better suited for wallet on top, keys beneath... for your phone you'd be better to find a wall mountable dock which will charge your phone.

Problem is, a wall-mounted flatscreen is great, and with a PS3 that can handle everything the VHS/DVD/CD player used to it reduces clutter by 90%, EXCEPT... no-one here seems to have an amplifier running the 6 speakers necessary to get the surround sound to match the big TV experience! (TV speakers are consistently rubbish, and soundbars, too)

any ideas how to make all that disappear?

@jason - well, it's not JUST a mounting plate, it still has pre-amps etc... think of it as a speakerdock, without the speakers, but all the hardware to interface with the phone and run the speakers.

Ditch The Deck, Use Your iPhone: Dash — The Smartphone Car Stereo

@andy: simple, really.

I sell cars for a living at a Toyota & Nissan dealership, and being the resident 'tech' person I'm responsible for hooking up the bluetooth for customer's phones.

Not that many people have an iPhone, and of those ONE in the last month has had music on it to take advantage of the bluetooth audio.

Imagine if Toyota spent millions on R&D for an iPhone mounting head unit, only for Apple to change the design/size 6 months later? Phones are replaced a lot more often than cars.

I still see a market for this product - but not as an OEM device, but for aftermarket and older cars still rocking a cassette deck!

How do I get more storage? By having an Acer Iconia A500, which allows you to plug in USB drives.

What storage problem?

I have a Brother 2140, and in 5 years have only needed one new cartridge.

I even put a Dell wireless adaptor for it before Brother came out with a wireless version - so that would DEFINITELY be the one I'd buy.

Unfortunately, I'm now stuck with the Samsung (I couldn't return it), but I still have the Brother under the desk for 90% of my printing.

Don't buy this monumental piece of junk.

It CONSTANTLY drops off the network, is a pain to set up, and the print quality is average.

By all means dump the inkjet and go back to laser, but not if it means never being able to print anything out when you actually want to!
