Wow. Danish oil didn't work. I read that was an option on another blog. I was hopeful that I could recommend that to others. The Thompson's Water Seal sounds good, but I would've been concerned about the chemicals. I'm delighted to hear that everything worked out with it. How To: Create a Repurposed Wine Crate Planter |

That is one of the most unique wine cellars i've ever seen. The only issue I have with it is that the flip-top door doesn't quite match the decorum of the tile. Was that intentional to give a more Victorian look? Trapdoor in the Kitchen Floor: Spiral Wine Cellars |
