Could you increase the treble and clarity by using good equalizer settings. I 've noticed that you could download good equalizer apps and get better sound from your device.

An excellent review. Appreciate the notes made on each soundtrack.
I presently own the HK MS-100, Logitech s715i, and Philips DS7550 and also dedicated HT systems of Marantz and Denon with Def Tech and Polk Audio speakers.
Am in the market for a wireless speaker. Am contemplating between the Logitech Boombox (am pretty impressed with the s715i) and the Bose. The drawback of the Logitech being the sound on battery mode.
How is the sound of the Bose when on Battery power? Also how do they compare for bass, midrange, treble and overall clarity and loudness.
