I agree with adjustable shelves. You could even do shelves on just the top half so you have space for larger things underneath. You could also install one of those broom wall holders (http://www.amazon.com/Wall-Mounted-Tool-Rack-Broom-Holder/dp/B0001ZL6J8/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1330616479&sr=8-5) on the door so the broom has a place, but it doesn't take up the whole closet and leaves space for shelves. I agree, the CleverCat is wonderful. The litter spread around my apartment has decreased probably by 80%. Best Modern Litterboxes 2012 |

This kitchen has some good ideas. I like the storage solutions with the hanging cutting boards, and pot lid rack. I think all the different surfaces would be little much for my personality, but it's not my kitchen. I do like how things are repurposed. It's very practical, and I love the pops of red! Thanks for some good ideas. Loi's Budget-Friendly Kitchen Facelift Reader Submissions |

I LOVE COFFEE, but it makes me feel jittery and anxious, plus all those daily trips to the coffee shop were hurting the wallet. So after months of debating I decided to cut back considerably. I went from having an extra large coffee every morning to about a half a cup in the morning. I went cold turkey at first, but I had terrible headaches for days. So then I slowly reduced the caffeine amount by adding more and more decaf each day until it was completely decaf (Yes it's annoying to ask for, but at least it's not a half-caf, with skim milk, sugar free raspberry syrup, @ 130 degrees- Yes I've heard that before). I would also recommend starting over a weekend, because the first day you might not feel the best, but that depends on your body. Everyone handles caffeine withdraw differently. Also make sure you are drinking plenty of water to help your body adjust. Going Caffeine-Free: What Are Your Best Tips for Kicking a Coffee Habit? |

I clean as I go because we have very little counter space and I hate finishing dinner and having a mountain of dishes to do. I also cannot stand waking up to any mess in the kitchen, so each night I make sure everything is nice and tidy (Counters wiped, all dishes either in the dishwasher getting washed or drying in the dish rack, floors swept.) I bought the full set of measuring cups (1/4, 1/3, 1/2, & 1 cup) and spoons for my mother-in-law for Christmas. The measuring cups are also oval shaped. She loves them because they are sturdy, and the oval shape makes measuring out of jars and spice containers much easier. I am looking to buy myself a set soon. I got this recipe from a friends blog a while back, and I love it. I've made it multiple times and it's so easy and DELICIOUS!. I made with 2% milk and it was not at all soupy, and I also added extra cheese and garlic. This always turns out well, and the bread crumb topping makes the dish!
