I used to divide with a sheer curtain. When I took it down the whole space just seemed so much bigger, so I dont think I will go back to dividing.

You know High Park in Toronto has a cherry blossom festival, right?? Not sure if this long winter would have killed it off though. They usually bloom late april/early may

my dad has this problem too! He went right up to the edge of the arch and then changed colours. Another idea is to add some molding under the arch to formally separate the two walls

I love my granny cart! I have a cheapo $20 one from Canadian Tire and it works great. But I only use it when I am walking to the grocery store because it is too hard to get on transit when full.

I use reusable grocery bags and tie the tops and pile them in to make sure nothing falls out. works great!

I cant really tell from the photo- but is the ceiling popcorn? Because the 3M strips wont work for that!

If not, I would use the 3M strip and pick a light pendant. Or just stick a hook in and spackle the tiny hole after

I would take the bar down. I think when they renovations that means major ones. This is no different than a towel bar (and was probably installed by the previous owner). If you want to be extar cautious, just ask the condo board. We are allowed to do renovations with permission from the board at my place

I wouldnt keep it up in the off chance you break something. That to me is a bit dramatic. If anything actually did happen to you, you could just install a new one.

@LeslieInAZ That complementary thing bothers me too! I need measurements!! I also hate how you cant browse by size on their site. i was shopping for a certain length of shelf and I had to hover over each shelf one by one to see if they fit

that being said, I love going to ikea! Even if just for the hot dogs and frozen yogurt ;)

this is the weirdest thing I have ever seen on AT.

That being said, maybe this would help my dad's cat stop meowing at him ALL day (my theory is that he is bored)

I clear as big of a space in the living room space as I can and I tarp it off. and yup, I walk around it until it is done!

I am still afraid of trying spray paint (but I have heard tips of using a large box or a garment bag). and for sawing there isnt much I can do so I dont do those types of projects
