We bought our daughter the light blue one for Christmas this year. It sounds fine. We play it often.

We bought our house in 2010. We only installed wooden blinds this past month. Every single piece of furniture and art is something we love and - cross our fingers - of which we won't tire. The list of things that we still have to do in the house is large, but when you surround yourself with people and things you love, it helps lessen the feelings of chaos in a house that is not fully decorated. I don't think this is something that takes two weeks...unless it's not authentic to you.

wow. this is so beautiful. the black and white contrasts are perfect. my daughter also responded really well to them. we generally have a lot of black and white in our house. i love it. it's classic. this is a beautiful nursery. great job.

i echo someone who commented above...love the moodiness of the grays. i've got gray on my kitchen walls and love it's richness. definitely must have a lot of light in this place to pull off all the gray tones. beautiful. do wish it looked a little more lived in though. ah, those empty bookshelves!

Rebecca_South, I did know but I'm always so weary of hanging things up on our walls being that some of the walls in our house are plaster and some are sheetrock. I figured I'd throw the question out to the AT community for some additional options. Thanks.

does anyone have any good recommendations on how to hang plates like this on a wall?

i seriously have had with all of the negativity in the comments section of these types of posts. there is a more thoughtful approach and better way to phrase your opinions. do we have to hate on everything? this is a great house, and i'm happy for access to websites like apartmenttherapy that offer a venue for showcasing them.
