I can think of many people transitioning from a suburban mentality to a more urban way of thinking that would totally love your space. And it is hard to decorate/organize 400sq feet never mind combining two people's stuff! You managed to squeeze it all in while clearly making a stylized effort. You should be very proud of your first home.

@FIONA - The contractors did all the structural changes. As long as you stay outside of the walls and (sub) floors, NYC allows you to renovate anything to your liking. :)

@BELLEBOHEME - Thank you for the compliment! I bought it from an art dealer in California. As far as I know there are only a handful still in existence but good luck with the hunt!

@Palders - Yep, all of our solid surfaces are Ceasarstone. We used KCC Stone Factory in Brooklyn. Good luck with your renovation!
