I think a must have is a comfortable place to nurse. I know lots of people have suggested a glider, but that didn't work so well with my first. He was a long baby, and a squirmer, even while nursing. After the first few months nursing became a pain because we didn't fit so well in the glider, and his feet constantly got tangled in the rungs either in the arm or behind the back pad. For my second we got a loveseat from the ikea scratch and dent. Nothing to get tangled it. What Are Your Nursery Must-Haves? Nesting a Nursery |

I have one similar to the second one going into my baby's room. My husband and I discussed using it as a bassinet, but it just wasn't sturdy enough. Now it stands tucked in a corner holding all the cozy blankets ready for the little one. Antique Baby Carriages |

I always used white chocolate pudding dyed in the colors my son asked for. That way it's not only just edible, mommy can eat the leftovers during naptime. Make Edible Finger Paint The Imagination Tree |
