Hi everyone- thank you so much for the feature Apartment Therapy!!! It was such an awesome surprise!! Thanks as well to those of you who left some great comments about my little DIY. To answer a few of the readers who weren't as fond of my chairs...they are in my living room and are largely decorative...meaning they aren't going to be sat on very often. They cost $30 to do so if the fur gets matty/dingy (which I actually don't think it will because it's so soft and fluffy and it's not the kind the sheds- it's more of a chenille fur) I can just rip it off and do something else- I change up the decor in my often, so these aren't meant to stay 'one look' forever. Also, the original/before photo was taken for scouting purposes and was enhanced by me when I didn't think I'd be able to afford re-upholstery/was planning on keeping them as is. In real life, the pink velvet (which was cheap and no where close to mohair) was very dingy- had black stains and had definitely seen it's day- people who know me are well versed in my addiction to pink- if there had been any way to keep the original, I would have. Anyhoo...to those of you who left nice comments about my project, thank you so so much- I can't tell you how much I appeciate it!! xoxo
