I also have a Mandal from Ikea, and I love it. I have a tiny bed room area, so having built-in, stylish storage is a major plus for me. I don't have room for nightstands, but I use one of the drawers at the head of the bed in a similar way -- tucking books, etc. in it when I'm ready to sleep. As @googerber points out, it does move "sometimes", though for me it's more of the whole bed sliding on the floor than the mattress... ;) 10 Sleek Platform Beds Under $1000 |

Voodoodle - My boyfriend didn't have a microwave growing up (he's 25, so microwaves were perfectly common) and he's lived without one for about 8 months in his new apt. He doesn't miss it at all. I, however, would certainly miss it. Apartment Therapy Chicago | CHI Open Thread: 106 |

It's great to (finally) see a place where painting isn't allowed. Finding furniture and accessories to make a room colorful is a more challenging goal, IMO, and I think she did a great job. wish I could have seen better pics of the public areas though.
