Love the view of the bedroom/terrace.

The kitchen is done nicely and is a feat of using available space, but it's impossibly small if you do any amount of serious cooking.

It's cool except I don't like the bar-height table/stools. They look super uncomfortable as an eating place.

Do you really have to go through your closet to get to the bathroom??

Wow. I once lived in a place where the tiny 3/4 bathroom was just off the kitchen sink. That was odd enough but I wouldn't like going through the closet.

Otherwise, nice job carving out the study instead of feeling you needed to have the traditional dining space there.

I do agree that the art placement/sizing in the main area is a bit off kilter. Even if you don't want to get larger artwork, the grouping over the sofa should be hung lower.

What a beautiful chair!!!

I wouldn't put a print on it, that would detract from the gorgeous detail in the wood. But if you wanted to reupholster it and your color theme is the same as the photo, what about a plush bright turquoise or bright lime velvety fabric? I like the idea of something bright in the fabric, and I like the idea of velvet or something equally rich.

Also, don't paint the wood unless it's really dinged up.

This is hideous. It looks like they stopped construction in the middle and walked away from the site.

This sort of thing is what we have to look forward to as the hottest design trends?

What an absolutely beautiful home! This is just the sort of place I like. It fits like a kid glove.

The modern/urban style is really not my style, but I happen to think this is a beautifully done example of the style.

Usually to me, this sort of style comes off feeling cold and uncomfortable -- however this space is well laid out and it seems cozy and comfortable, in that black and chrome way.

I think he did a great job.

I have a family of dust bunnies under my bed. I really need to evict them.

Maybe I'll be the dissenting vote -- I didn't like the kitchen. I'm just not a fan of the open shelf thing and it looks like there's no oven? I also didn't see a fridge. Unless the thing that looked like a dishwasher was a tiny fridge.

The one thing I did like in all the pictures was in the kitchen though. I like the row of wire baskets for different veggies.

Otherwise -- it feels cluttered yet sparse. Sparse because there's a LOT of empty space. Cluttered because everything is out in the open.

This is one super-cool house. I want one!

Simon Dale should start a business consulting on how to do this.

I like the bedroom the best, and the way he's arranged the space overall.

I thought the narrow table in the kitchen was brilliant but the color scheme and open shelving were my least favorite part of the apt.

The spaces themselves seem cold, sterile and uncomfortable, and a bit cluttered. Aside from the orange chair in the bathroom I didn't see a single chair I'd want to sit in. I'm not a fan of this decorating style.
