truenic, my money is on Mount Pleasant, but perhaps I'm just biased because that's where I live. :) I love this little hideaway, with the bed in a drawer and the high ceilings and the books and art. Wonderful.

I disagree with the idea of switching the bedroom and dressing room-- for one thing, you'd then have guests walking through your bedroom to use the bathroom, which may not bother some but it would me, a bit. The bedroom is now tucked away, private and just big enough. At first I was looking at the floor plan and thought why would anyone use a single big room for a dressing room, but then I realized that this was the expansiveness that comes from being able to stretch out in a space and make it what you wish. And as long as it's under 1000 sq. feet, I'm okay with the size of the entry. It's a beautiful space; feels like you could fly through it.

This is FANTASTIC. This is what this contest is all about-- the best of Apartment Therapy. Ingenuity, creativity, design. I wish I could vote for it a dozen times over!

The green floor is superb.

But what I really want to know is how my cat managed to transport himself to Berlin for a visit and to pose for photographs.

Headboard is amazing. That plus the chair makes this very special!

Dude. Thoughtless and juvenile. Nobody's forcing you to put one on your wall, and it works perfectly well here. Oy.

I love this, even though I usually turn right off when I see a bed in which you couldn't sit up to read comfortably. But this is special and gorgeous.

It's not a colour I like at all, but bravo for pulling it off with such style!

Perfect balance of light and dark. The only thing I miss is a reading light by the chair (perhaps I just don't see one).
