I recently purchased three rolls of Tempaper and was disappointed with the product and the follow-up service. I had a very tight timeline so I paid a premium to have the product shipped to Canada in four days. It arrived on time and looked great while it was on the roll.
Unfortunately, when the time came to install it we realized that a portion of tow of the rolls was damaged. There were horizontal lines at 8” intervals. They appeared to be abrasions. Unfortunately we had already installed the first roll and as I said, time was tight. We had no choice but to install the rest.
When we complained politely to Tempaper and sent photos they asked for more photos. We sent more. Then they said they could not replace it if we didn’t return it to them. We pointed out that a) we had spent a great deal of time installing it (do not be deceived, it is much harder to install than regular wallpaper, and b) if we were to remove it, it would stick to itself and the damage would not be visible. After a lengthy and frustrating back and forth, they agreed to send us a single roll of another less expensive product. We actually don’t need any more Tempaper and probably won’t have the patience to install it.
THEN, the product arrived and it was sent COD and cost us another $40. In total, it cost us about $450 (tax, duty, shipping) for three rolls that we wanted and an additional roll.
All together, I have to say that the prints are beautiful, installation is extremely tricky as it is very thin and prone to air bubbles, it needs about 10 days to off gas and the service is terrible. I would not recommend you buy this product unless you purchase directly from a store.
