What a beautiful room. I loved your comment on how Harper would stare at the bird on the windowsill while she ate. So funny and sweet. Just beautiful. And it is so cool to watch Dad work on something for his little girl, isn't it? His work on her name is super.

Now that she is older, has she tried to recreate (with crayons or markers) the tree and blooms on the wall? Or spilled her juice on the CD player?

This lamp is pretty darn funky. It makes me want to sit in bed and read novels by its' light while drinking manhattans.

Oh yeah! Grandbaby #1 arrived last July and Grandbaby #2 (but who's counting...? haha) will arrive this next July. Nana would love to have this to accomodate little bottoms!

I have an old farmhouse style sink this would look kinda groovy with. You know, the contrast between vintage and sleek chic...hmmmmm....Nah. My husband/handyman would probably call bulls**t on that.

While I understand the concept of medical staff using this device in reduced circumstances in impoverished countries, I predict that some wealthier folks will purchase it for home use. We live in a microwave, instant gratification sort of society and this is just too sweet a toy to be left to the professionals.

Having said that, I also agree that ultrasounds should held to a minimum during pregnancy.

Very sleek and stylish! and would be unobtrusive on my livingroom shelf.

Just found out that our second grandbaby in a year will arrive next summer. I can see them both seated at this table in Nana and Papas' kitchen.
