I (Spencer's mom) am shocked that anyone feels the need to rain on the proverbial parade of the contestants by expressing their shock & dismay at the finalists or winners. It sometimes seems that in the age of internet anonymity, people have forgotten the adage "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." Life's too short.

A friend warned me that in order to enter an online contest one needs thick skin, and she was right.

I BIG, heartfelt, thank you to Ohdeedoh & to the people who voted for Spencer's room - being included in this contest was an honor and placing 3rd was more than I'd hoped for. Congrats to all the finalists & to the winners - all of whom were more than deserving.

Thanks, @sarashea! The goose lamp was my own nightlight when I was a baby, I'm so glad that now it's Spencer's! The rocking horse, stick pony, & lamb on top of the wardrobe were also pieces from my nursery that my mom held on to.
