Thanks for the lovely comments. I have really been inspired by all the beautiful children's design on Ohdeedoh.

The posters in the room came first. We originally saw them in the Land of Nod catalogue about two years ago, but ended up buying them on Ebay for about $11 each. Then we found the red chair--I mean literally found it on the curb on garbage day--and knew we had to do a room around red accessories.

The quilt was a great find on a trip to the Berkshires in Western Mass. in May. The Pine Cone Hill outlet store in Lenox, MA has loads of colorful quilts at reasonable prices.

And finally, I agree with k8theriver. The alcove behind the bed is not yet finished. We were originally going to put a book rack there, but decided to place it elsewhere instead because a) it would cover up the electrical plug which we need for a lamp, and b) it would encourage climbing into the alcove and taking flying leaps onto the bed. But that is why the shelf is so high. Instead, I am planning to add some red vinyl wall stickers of ladybugs that I bought from etsy. I have not gotten to it yet because I also have a three month old daughter. :)

We have this rug in 8x11 in the Wasabi color (brown and green). It was a big splurge for us but it has been worth it for what it has done for our living room. We looked at buying it at a few different places and found that Jordan's Furniture in the Boston area sells it for $1699 with free shipping/delivery and 12 months no interest financing. That was how we managed to afford it! Also, Sierra Trading Post website online has a pretty good selection of other Company C rugs. Company C itself has a great outlet store in Concord, NH.

Hi, this is my first time posting on any AT website. I've joined a CSA for the first time this year in Dover, MA, a few towns over from where I live. It's the Powisset Farm CSA, run through Trustees of the the Reservations, and it's a 10 acre farm with 200 shares this year. I think it's only in its second year.

I don't know what it will be like but I read about it in the Boston Globe last year and couldn't wait to sign up. There are no distribution points that I know of, just the farm location itself. I think most of the harvest is organic, and there are pick-your-own options in addition to the weekly box.

I don't know if there are any shares left but the contact info is mlatronica@ttor.org.
