What's with all the "still life" photos, or the photos of a yard sale? Potatoes are potatoes. They don't add anything to the tour. The house is very nice, though, although I would have held out for the "real" Eames fiberglass chairs, and not gone for the ones with the school bases (too common, and not collectable). Just doesn't look like anybody can improve on already existing classics, does it? The two best "lookers" are the ones that have been around for a while--the Prouve chair and the Hansen chair (which, predictably, isn't comfortable). Best Modern Side Chairs 2011 |

I go along with the folks who like their Fiestaware--the OLD Fiestaware, though, not the current line (the older colors were better). I could go for some of that old Russell Wright stuff, too! Newer is not necessarily better--in fact, in my opinion, it most often isn't! Best Everyday China 2011 |
