I have a queen sized bed. I recently moved from a platform bed back to a metal frame with a low profile box spring and standard mattress. Bed skirts that accommodate a low profile box do not seem to exist...and I don't really care to have a pleated skirt anyways.

Looking for some DIY ideas to cover the metal frame and the storage underneath.
Thought of upholstering some masonite pieces that would assemble together to create a three-sided cover.

Any other thoughts / ideas / suggestions?
