I'm trying to eat it to acquire a taste. I have heard that it's possible to go from hating to loving if you expose yourself to it. Right now though, it still tastes like soap to me.

Gave up second bathroom, storage and parking to live in a red-brick Victorian row with original stained glass. Still don't regret it!

I get very angry when I hear people say "life's too short" to worry about what you eat. Sugar is making a huge portion of the population's life EVEN SHORTER. Diabetes is reeking havoc on my family, so I most certainly believe that sugar in almost all forms is toxic (raw fruit being the ONLY exception). I've been dealt a bad hand when it comes to genetics. I've been an over eater since childhood and have suffered the real effects of food addiction as an adolescent and young adult. I can tell you that sugar is an addictive substance. At the age of 27, I am working to delay the onset of diabetes by reducing my sugar intake to next to nil. Despite my very healthy lifestyle (less than 1500 calories a day, frequent cardio exercise), I still carry stubborn abdominal fat (visceral fat) so I know that diabetes for me isn't a matter of IF but WHEN. Avoiding sugar now could perhaps add 10 to 15 years on my life, so please don't say that life's too short to worry about what I eat. Life is too precious not to.

XL ziplocks are the way to go. Store all your "outside" things in one, so that you aren't taking any hitchhikers with you in your car, on transit or to work. Put your purse, shoes and coat into a bag a soon as you enter your house. Only wear clothes out of the house that have gone straight from the dryer and into a ziplock. This will help keep you sane will you wait between hatchings and sprayings. When I had bedbugs my biggest fear was spreading them to friends, family or coworkers. Keep up the good work, be diligent and you can beat those nasty buggers!

I love my king-sized duvet on a queen sized bed. It fits so much better for two people. I also don't use a flat sheet. I find it ends up bunched at the foot of the bed. I just make sure to wash my duvet cover more often. Making the bed without a flat sheet is so easy; I just have to arrange the duvet et voila!

I really want to like cilantro! But the soapy taste hits me hard every time I try it. I love Indian and Thai food, but I'm always on the look out for flecks of green or garnishes. This gives me hope that I can learn to like it - or maybe just tolerate it.

As much as I love my townhouse, when I went to do the home inspection before closing the deal, I met my new neighbour. He rented the top floor of the house next to mine and would share our bedroom wall. He was filthy and he's teeth were black, from what I can only assume was from drug use. I was put off, but not enough to back out of the deal. He has just moved out, but not until I experienced 18 months of constant cigarette smoke stench seeping through the walls and music blaring at 4 am. Since I was buying and in for the long haul, I just dealt with it, but since you are renting don't expose yourself to a potentially bad living situation. Walk away.

When my boyfriend was a teenager, he did an exchange to France along the Swiss border. His host family packed his lunch everyday: 1 family size bag of chips, 1 FULL box of oreo cookies, 1L bottle of pop, 1 bottle of ketchup with 2 baguettes and cold meats. I guess they were told that Canadian children eat vast quantities of junk food. He was totally baffled.

I have my microwave installed in my built-in pantry. I love having it tucked away out of sight, but still easy to access and use. I leave the pantry doors open when it's running.
