I picked up that same industrial lamp listed first for a dollar at a flea market! Sweet!

I still use my Samsung Rugby flip phone. It's ridiculously tough, and I don't see the point of upgrading to a smartphone with the huge price difference between plans. Plus, I have a Samsung Tab, the first version, that if I want to stay connected I can buy a plan for cheap. I love technology, I just never see the point of owning devices that basically all serve the same function. I agree with LyonStill and also, its almost freeing in not being connected all the time

Another great place to find containers at is Homegoods/Marshalls/TJ Maxx. My local one here in New Jersey sells those apothecary jars for dirt cheap. Even the big ones, like 3 feet tall, only run about $10 and they have a bunch of different sizes and styles. I'm guessing they would be a good terrarium container. I keep eyeing them up, but just haven't bit the bullet yet.

I love the look and feel of linen, but if $200-$400 is affordable for a bed sheet set, then count me out.

Where is that bird print from? That's pretty sweet. Most of my vinyl is spread out in random bookshelves throughout the house. It ensures a little more randomness depending on what room I'm in.

If you're worried about weight support, you could build a U shape support out of two by fours and attach one to each end (maybe using pocket holes) to support the ends of the box. If you were worried about looks you could put painted plywood over the U frames and just paint it to match the ceiling. Just my 2 cents.

Being 6'5" I must say I'm a little biased toward larger furniture. I have a smaller cape cod in the countryside, and I am able to fit some larger furniture in it. I must say I do love restoration hardware, but could never afford to shop there. Instead I love going into stores like Homegoods or the local craigslist posts and getting furniture that looks and has near the same quality of restoration hardware. I've never paid over $400 for any of it, which includes my larger furniture and I am very happy with my selections.
