As I understand it, Wabi Sabi is actually an ancient Japanese art form that honors all things old, worn, weathered, imperfect and impermanent...and it's intent is to seek to find perfection in beauty in the imperfect whether it be in a material item, a person, a place or a happening......it is a way of life to show reverence and love for all things.

Wabi Sabi is not simplicity in and of it's self. Humble beauty can be found in the midst of chaos and still be Wabi Sabi.....because it is loved for it's self, as it is right now.
