@m@thew: do you mean the Geometric Tile by Daniel Ogassian for Ann Sacks? although, yeah, it can be kind of hard to find things on this site sometimes. (big ups from back in the day, though; it's like a thousand times better.) Apartment Therapy at KBIS: Favorite Finds KBIS 2012 |

@chartreuse, you make a good point, but ... paying $800 for the new unit and another god-knows-how-much to have a tankless installed isn't in my cards right now. (kindly refrain from a condescending attitude about stuff like that, m'kay?) Would You Consider an Outside Hot Water Heater? |

crap. i thought this was going to save the day. i have a TON of company coming at the end of the month, and although i already own a twilight sleeper (craigslist purchase) and the now discontinued ikea lessebo, along with a sectional in the living room, i'm going to be one twin bed short. i've been looking for something more along the lines of this sleeper chair, but for an adult (dammit!), not a small child. i need something compact & lightweight ... like those groovy sleeper poufs y'all featured a few years back (and which are, of course, discontinued). cheap (money-wise, not quality wise) would be good, too. help? Honestly? The right-sized cardboard box from your new food processor or whatever would work just as well as a plastic bin. Interesting. I wonder what value blanching adds, and if 2 hours is really necessary. Also, what do you do with the olive oil that's left over? I wouldn't be able to bring myself to throw it out. Two-Hour Broccoli Confit: So Much Better Than Overcooked Broccoli |
