I'm not even attempting such large and loud prints on my short 4'11" self. I sat back and watched the world go crazy when the line dropped. Very entertaining!

I used a pile of found worn bricks to build a dry stack garden border. It was Phase 1 of what became a $260 front garden and porch redo http://condo-blues.blogspot.com/2011/09/recycled-front-porch-and-garden.html I put in the garden border to keep my dog out of my small front garden beds. It worked for a day until he and I realized we do agility for fun. My dog easily jumps the border :) Still it looks nice and several people in my neighborhood copied it.

I don't eat processed foods and have a small family. I buy whole "ingredient" type food and cook from scratch. I use coupons when and if they are available for the things I use. I'm selective about the things I use too. I average saving 50% per trip. I usually do better with the store specials than with coupons but I am surprised that there are coupons for healthy food, some organic, and green products out there if you look. Since I'm not extreme by any means, not having as many coupons available for the products I buy, keeps me from loading up my cart every week with 87 bottles of mustard. I use the coupons as a tool to save money in one area of my food budget and put the savings toward fresh organic produce.

The Evil Dead movie posters and action figures in my laundry room. I think laundry is an evil chore so it fits nicely with my mood. The action figures are in there to keep me in line. If only they would help out with the ironing every once and awhile...

We're a family of two that cooks at home and eats leftovers for lunch. I run a full dishwasher every day tor every other day. I use vinegar in the Jet Dry container which I thinks works better. I don't have a problem with it smelling. However, I often remove the filter/basket and clan the gunk that collects underneath it.

Last year I sewed purses for friends who admired the purse I made for myself and pajama pants for the nieces and nephews who requested homemade gifts. This year I'm making fleece chew toys and dried sweet potato chewies for the dogs (yes they get gifts)

I had an overnight party guest that would not take the hint to leave the next day! I started cleaning up, then vacuuming, and finally started doing laundry - it didn't work. Finally my husband and I made up that we had to leave for an appointment and drove around the block. That's the only thing that got the guy to leave!

I painted my kitchen backsplash with chalkboard paint in that the greenest thing is what you already own. Not to mention it's cheaper and less resource intensive than recycled glass tile (which my husband & I couldn't agree on.)

I don't have a problem with chalk dust getting everywhere or on my food. I use a slightly damp rag to erase the chalkboard and that's that. As for what's written on the cupboards, well, I know that we have a lot of fun writing things like "life itself" and a arrow pointing to the coffee maker and "Please dispose of body parts here" over the garbage disposal so I wouldn't take them too seriously if they say they have a cupboard full of ashtrays or other not so green things. Or maybe they just like to collect ash trays?

I do the same as Peggasus. I was going to buy a cute little crock to keep under my sink. Then my husband brought a large plastic coffee can home from work because his office doesn't recycle and he thought I could "do something with it." (Some girls get flowers, I get garbage!) Since I made our compost bin from a plastic Rubbermaid tub, we might as well go with a DIY scrap tub too.

My grandmother grew up on a dairy farm. She never drank milk much because the boys who helped out on the farm would squirt milk in the pail, wet their dirty hands in it and start milking the cows. Obviously that was before they had milking machines but I still want my milk pasteurized to kill any harmful dirt or bacteria that may have accidentally gotten into the milk.

And make it skim milk (what she said they didn't drink but fed to the cat!) I'm watching the cholesterol early.

This might work with some serious editing. Take the dots off the sink & toilet (Maybe keep them on the lid), add a red shower curtain and decide about the cabinets later. Add some red accessories. Then it might be a way to jazz up a rental bathroom when you can't paint.

Oxygen bleach dissolved in water will also get rid of pet stains on carpet and is environmentally friendly because it's made with hydrogen peroxide.

I know tea tree oil is toxic to cats. Also some people can have allergic reactions to some essentials and not others.

Why don't you contact Mrs. Meyers and ask them if their product is safe to use around your cat?

I have the tomato planter. It took awhile to figure out how much was too much or not enough water. Once I figured that my planter liked a wine bottle full of water a day - I had much better results. The wine bottle made it easier to water too.

If I did a full laundry every two or three days I'd consider it. But I only do full loads of laundry on a weekly basis. I'm not ready for my bathroom to smell like a diaper pail.

I make up for it in many ways. I even use cloth handkerchiefs!
