I'm in the process of trying to add shelving to my front closet in the exact same way you did. However I live in an old Chicago bungalow with plaster walls even in the closet. And I can't find studs anywhere in there. I've put screws in various places, but they just pull right back out. Ugh. Any suggestions?? Before & After: A Pretty, Organized Hallway Closet |

We add sugar, orange juice and horseradish, but we don't cook the cranberries, just throw everything in the food processor and chop it all up. It's so yummy. 7 Ways To Perk Up Cranberry Sauce |

I've bought those legs at Loew's, but I'm sure you can also get them at Menards and Home Depot. I belive they come in length's from 6" to at least 24" long. You can also buy the metal plates that they screw into as either flat (so the legs are vertical) or slanted (so the legs go out at a slight angle like much of the mid-century modern legs). I make something similar, and add horseradish for a nice kick. It's my favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal and the only way I can eat white turkey meat. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Recipe: Fresh Cranberry Relish |

I love peanut butter and jelly. When I was a kid it was all I would eat so my Mom made me a special PB&J: on the first slice of bread put PB on the top half and J on the bottom half, on the second slice of bread put PB on the right half and J on the left half. When you put the pieces together it's like having 4 little sandwiches: 2 PB&J, 1 just PB, and 1 just J. My Mom would only make this sandwich for me, never for my siblings so that made it extra special. I still make my sandwiches that way when I need a pick-me-up. I'm also testing the Maker's Mark version with sweet cherries. They've been soaking in the fridge for about 3 weeks now. I haven't done a taste test lately, but when I tried one about 3 days into it, they weren't great. I'm hoping that the flavor has developed over time. I have that same table in yellow. We use the Herman chairs from Ikea as I didn't want to spend a lot of money unless I found the "perfect" chairs. I do think the Herman chairs are fairly comfortable, but you have to periodically ensure that everything is still snuggly fitted. I also thought the Herman chair came in apple green which would be very pretty with the red table and your curtains. At $15 a pop, you could get the Herman chairs while you continue to look for something better, which is what I've been doing for almost 6 years now. Your balcony is really amazing, and you probably get more use out of it because it's covered. I have that same material that is on the pillows on the balcony and it never occured to me to use the print diagonally - I love it! Apartment Therapy Chicago | Midwest Finalist - Stephanie's Life of Pie |

Remotes, mail, newspapers, magazines, dinner, dog treats...pretty much anything. We have a really large coffee table and we spend most of our time in the living room, so it's basically just a catch all. When company is coming over we clear it off, put down a tablecloth and serve hors d'ouerves. Apartment Therapy Chicago | Survey: Coffee Table Tops |

I think it all depends on the bedspread and the room it's in. I bought a blue chenille spread for my guest room and I really love it, but I've seen a lot of these spreads that I don't care for. I think it helps to have an unusual color or pattern. I don't think I've ever seen a white or pastel colored spread that I've liked. Apartment Therapy Chicago | Chenille Bedspreads |

I thought this was amazing, and it is really great to see what a place inside Marina Towers looks like. I think your place is very sophisticated without being stuffy. And I also thought your floor plan designations were cute, not at all pretentious. Apartment Therapy Chicago | Midwest #23: Stephanie's Life of Pie |

I know I'll never be able to do this because I wouldn't stay with a man who "rather than go to bed with his wife when she asked him to in the times after the miscarriages, heâd work on a project." Obviously his wife has a different take on it, but is any house worth that kind of abandonment? Heehee, I love these comments. I'm quite sure I'll get sucked in again. I think it's a great idea to replace Oldman as the host, I think he has great designs, but his personality seems to mellow to be hosting the show. I'm also sure that, at the very least, I will be tuning in to see what wacky outfit Kelly Wearstler wears. Apartment Therapy Chicago | Top Design 2.0: Will You Give It Another Chance? |
