I like Worlds Best and Feline Pine. Make sure stick with non toxic all natural litters because your kitty injests a lot over time through grooming. However the most important way to help the smell is with diet. Don't cheap out on good- it's like feeding your kid fast food their whole life, you'll just cause a lot of expensive health problems later. Use filtered water and good quality grain free wet food like Wellness or Blue. Cars who have a primarily dry food diet their whole lives are very likely to become obese and get diabetes because kitties need a lot of animal protein and dry food is grain and plant protein. Or do a mix of wet and dry if you can't afford it. And that's my two cents! Ideal Kitty Litter for Apartment Dwellers? Good Questions |

If you affix it to wood or canvas make sure you research it so whatever you do is archival. If you still have the artists contact info you could email them for suggestions. How To Display Unusually Sized Poster? Good Questions |

I think you should avoid the passive aggressiveness in this situation, be the bigger person, and go talk to the neighbor. Maybe even with the gift of an air purifier. I grew up with a chain smoking mom, but after getting out of there I am very sensitive to it. I know when I visit for the holidays it's red eyes and headaches even when my mom goes outside. She, like most smokers, honestly can not comprehend how bad it lingers and how sensitive some people are since she is not. However, you are an adult, you know the danger, and its not illegal. Try fans, ain't purifiers, etc but bottom line you have to communicate with your neighbor and find a solution you both can live with. Help! Well I realize anyone can upload a photo knowingly but all in all I think projects that give away free art end up devaluing art and hurting artists trying to sell...some artists probably grossly overprice their work, but most need the money. I'd rather see people create awareness around the value of skill and talent. The Free Art Machine |

I wouldn't bother repainting, I think the grey is nice. However the muted colors in the artwork look drab against the grey. I would swap that out with something bolder, and also add bright pops of color for accents - pillows, a throw, etc. You did the right thing picking neutrals for your furniture - they will last as your tastes change. But for now be more adventurous in the accents! What's Needed in This Room? Good Questions |

That's what I thought until I had a roommate a few years ago with a cat who used all natural liter (no weird perfume-y fragrances that your cat ends up digesting) and fed her cat all natural food and brita water. The result is amazing. We do the same thing with our cat now and even my anti cat mother-in-law commented on how she can never smell the box. A Pretty Way To Hide Kitty Litter |

BTW, Jeni's ice cream is amazing. She does unique original flavors and sources locally when possible...flavors like Goat Cheese and Cognac Figs, Salty Caramel, Brambleberry Crisp. You can buy it online now, very worth it. Jeni Britton Bauer Shows How To Make Ice Cream in a Food Processor Video |
