@amyfaith is absolutely right on all counts. Asbestos shingles are completely harmless unless "friable." Keep them painted and it will be no problem -- and they will last forever. The siding on the back of my house is asbestos cement shingles, and we had the same questions when we bought it. I am totally comfortable with the decision 15 years later.

Will admit to the fact that I have been a huge David Byrne fan for decades, so I may not be objective here....but I find it hard to imagine that anyone who looked at the video would find this a depressing work space. Even just the few glimpses of some objects show a riot of color, artwork and music. The one picture of a desk and a computer clearly doesn't even scratch the surface of this space.....I wish my workplace was nearly as exciting.
