We used to trim our cat's claws so that the ends were blunter. They did much less damage to the furniture after that. You can buy claw trimmers at the pet store and ask your vet to give you a little tutorial on how to trim their claws without hurting them.

I forgot to add squash to the list of current favourites. Sliced squash (acorn, butternut, etc), brushed with oil and sprinkled with cinnamon. She loves it and so do I : )

No kidding. Eskimo is a derogatory term. Clearly this "accomplished international journalist" did most of her 'studying' at Saks.
This looks like a book peddling tired stereotypes for the infotainment of white middle-class parents.

This is a really great room. I love seeing how other parents create nice, shared bedrooms for their kids.
