@peachypear the first image is slightly textured walls! the house was built in the 30's, and has original plaster walls...they have tiny bumps! worked fine on them :)

thanks for posting this project! @sisterfunkhaus it may look like wood in these photos, but in person, it actually has a dimensional characteristic that is reminiscent of stained wood. i use a faux painting product specifically made for this, and it's pretty cool how it works.
