Also this new 'trend' where the upholstery looks like it was ripped off then not reupholstered. Why? If I wanted a chair that looked like that I'd go to a garage sale and do it myself - not spend $2,000 on it at Anthro. What's Your Design Pet Peeve? |

Red walls! Either the whole room or just an accent wall - I can't stand it! It seems really 90's to me (or 2002 when I actually had a red wall - but have since gotten over that phase) What's Your Design Pet Peeve? |

Silver gilded candle holder made of antlers at Home Goods. It was probably 30$ but I didn't have a job at the time so I passed. Went back a week later and there were none left. I still look every time I am there even though this was 3 years ago. Object Lust: What's Your Gem That Got Away? |

I own the Melltorp table. For 70$ it's an awesome table. It's metal or metal like - and a lot heavier than I expected. It's a pretty basic table. Apartment Therapy Chicago | IKEA 2009 Catalog: First Look...It's Black White All Over |

I bought the round Simple Human trash can right before moving into my apartment. I like it, but I would advise getting a different shape - the round can fills very quickly. I would prefer one of the rectangular ones. Apartment Therapy Chicago | Fingerprint-Proof Trash Cans from Simplehuman |

I purchased the West Elm tall wood bed frame in December. It has nearly fallen apart since then. The supports simply fell off and I had to prop them up - and the wood already has chips in it. The bed itself isn't very sturdy and moves around quite a bit. Good Questions: Which Bed Would You Recommend? |
