Funny - only yesterday I was reading the listing of a "round" house (actually hexagonal) nearer my neck of the woods, in the UK: http://www.teamprop.co.uk/properties/GWL2155/3 Bedroom House For Sale in LEWES East Sussex.aspx

Also featuring red walls, and a lot less modern design.

Apparently it briefly belonged to Virginia Woolf.

Forget the rugs, I love the shoes! Anyone got any idea where they might be from?

I wonder if you have to wait for it to stop raining before you can take a bath. Or doesn't it matter? Because I am sure it rains a LOT in Belgium.

Yes, bepsf, that's it for me. I have no objection to decals per se - love them in fact - but these fish are very reminiscent of a certain style of kids' stickers which I personally don't like at all. I prefer solid colour and clean lines, but there you are, it's not my house. I also find the floating plant strange.

Nice blue, nice rug, nice floor, nice pattern on the far wall, nice chair, TERRIBLE decals. In my opinion.

Love the little ones. Now why can't they be available in the UK?

On no account go for the Ikea Lilleberg. I can't believe it's even still on the market. We had one which collapsed while my elderly mum and her friend were sitting on it with hot cups of tea. On examination we saw that the frame had cracked. As it happened, a friend was looking to get rid of the same model. A few weeks later, exactly the same fault occurred, this time while I was feeding my young baby. So it wasn't the way I put it together - my pals had assembled the second one! I did want to alert Ikea to what I assume is a design fault, but their email contact system makes it virtually impossible to make a comment of it isn't tied in to a request for a refund - and you can't do that if you haven't got a receipt... Ok, rant over...

I just can't believe how mean some of the comments are on this blog, and not only on this post. I'd be afraid to show my flat!

Personally, I love the glass wall on the bathroom. Maybe I should try to develop my modesty a little more. I've also heard of similar set-ups where the wall frosts over when someone enters: wouldn't that be cool in this case (although I'm sure a curtain does just as well)? There's also a cafe in my town where when you are on the loo, you can look out of a wall-to-floor window : it's a one-way mirror but it takes a lot of courage to go.

I love those tiles above the stove; where are they from?

I love the exterior, and I love the colours throughout. I'm not sure what that bumpy floor is doing though - it made me do a real double take. There again, how fantastic to do something so entirely unheard of with an interior.

I would really love to see those under-stairs storage areas open. Please?
