@cactina, I understand wanting to "veg" in front of the computer to escape from what's going on in your life. I often do the same. But maybe if we actually took what inspires us and put it into practice, we might help ourselves heal faster and simultaneously help fill a void by accomplishing something that we did solely for the purpose of saying we did it. This may be one of my favorite posts ever on AP! So much good stuff here and bonus points for bringing me down memory lane. The BB books were staples in my house growing up, and I love that many of the lessons contained within still apply today. @SHANNONTAYLOR, I don't believe the argument is whether the site should be edited. Of course it should. My gripe is more with CVAUGHN'S delivery. It would just be nice if we could keep these forums focused on the decorating tips. If any of us are that concerned about errors, I'm sure the hard-working copyeditors at AT would respect and appreciate an e-mail making them aware. It's one thing to respectfully call out errors within a post so that the copyeditors can make corrections to optimize content for their readers. However, if you can take the time to correct people who I'm sure work incredibly hard at what they do, then the least you can do is muster the courtesy to e-mail your comments in private, rather than posting them on an open forum. After making these brownies, I never want the kind from the box again! They were a huge hit at my office bake sale.
