Its nice if you like mental ward chic. I have the George Kovacs arc floor lamp and its the only thing in the whole room with any redeemable value. And I am highly suspicious of anyone with an all white apartment.

However, I wish people would stop bitching because it is a so-called big space. One person in an 800 square foot apartment is hardly huge. People in New York are so used to living in a box especially if they are poor.

Unfortunately for you Luca there are a lot of poor people who post here and hence will punish you for working hard or at least having parents who worked hard and not living in a hovel.

Any submission with a pot rack, particularly one sitting OUTSIDE of the kitchen should be instantly disqualified. The kitchen is decent and it looks like the entrant spent all his money there. The living room is completely underwhelming except for the bookshelves and the coffee table is shameful. Thus far, with one exception, this has been a very inauspicious start for the Smallest Coolest Contest

Preposterous. Why was this person even allowed to enter this contest? In addition to posting rules, you should post standards as well. It lacks coherence and calm. I imagine half thier guests fall into seizures. Why do people think that just being different equates to creativity or good design. It looks like an Indian brothel and not a particularly classy one either.

Of course its hideous but new construction condos usually are. under no circumstances should you put up a waterfall as a previous poster suggested. it would be pure hideosity. I would suggest switching out the door to a custom made wood door that can be as simple or intricate as you'd like. It can become part of your decor. I think the idea of a substantial tasteful mirror with a great wooden frame is also a good idea.
